Description
Scrinium is a movable container that hearkens back to certain products of the past, particularly the secretaire, a fold-down desk in vogue in the eighteenth century and used to store objects in addition to providing a writing surface. The solid brass structure is embedded in the profile of the American walnut furniture

I’ve had this Scrinium Vanity for three months now and it’s become my favorite writing nook. The American walnut and brass construction feels incredibly solid – much sturdier than I expected for something with such an elegant profile. It’s the perfect size for my small apartment, not too bulky. While assembling, I kept thinking about palmeiras vs santos classic furniture craftsmanship – this piece definitely belongs in that same league of quality. The price is steep but for a functional art piece that serves as both storage and desk, it’s worth every penny.
